To see how this works, please
download and install the SPR
POS program, run it, then go to System Setup > Frequent
Diner Program (please see screenshot below).

Once you click on the
'Frequent Diner Program' menu item, a dialogue box will come
out below:

This is where the user may
setup a reward program for his loyal customers.
Example: By using this
option, you can have the system to automatically generate a
credit of $15.00 for any customer who has accumulated
purchases for $100.00 You can can even have the system to
automatically print a coupon for such customer, specifying
the "Reward Credit" just added to his account.
Prior to using this feature,
you should first configure everything found in the 'Frequent
Diner Program' option. Click on the 'Edit' button to start
configuring your frequent diner program.
Tips: When you enter this
window, you will find that the information shown here is in
'Display Only' mode. In order to change it, the available
buttons and options are as follows:
Edit: Edits
information for the current window.
While editing only two
buttons will be enabled:
Save:
Exits the Edit Mode and save the changes.
Cancel:
Exits the Edit Mode and do not save the changes.
Automatic Freq. Diner
Reward Creation: Check this box if you wish to
enable the "Frequent Diner" reward program.
Automatic Reward Credit
Slip Printing: Check this box if you wish to
automatically print a coupon for the customer who qualifies
for the credit reward. This coupon will specify the
"Frequent Diner Credit" just added to his account.
Minimum Ticket Amt.
Required: Here you can specify the minimum ticket
amount required in order to qualify for the "Frequent Diner"
reward program. Any ticket under this amount will no be
tracked for frequent diner points.
Reward Credit Amount:
Enter here the automatic Frequent Diner reward
credit amount to be generated.
Reward Criterion:
Clicking on this button will take you to a window where
you will need to select any of 3 reward options. These are:
1- Accumulated Order
Amount: Using this option will setup the system to
automatically generate reward credit when a customer's
total purchases have reached the amount specified in the
field "Minimum Accumulated Amt", which is located
nearby.
2- Accumulated Order
Count: Using this option will setup the system to
automatically generate reward credit when a customer's
number of orders have reached the value specified in the
field "Minimum Order Count", which is located nearby.
3- Both: Using this
option will setup the system to automatically generate
reward credit either when a customer's total purchases
have reached the amount specified in the field "Minimum
Accumulated Amt", or when a customer's number of orders
have reached the value specified in the field "Minimum
Order Count". Whichever of these two conditions meets
first will generate the reward credit.
Some more tips:
-While you are at the order
entry window, you can link this order to a given cutomer by
pressing the hot keys Ctrl + A on your keyboard. When you
do, the customer name will be displayed on the the upper
left corner of the order.
-To see a complete list of
customers displaying their respective order "Tracked Count"
and order "Tracked Amount", choose Reports | Customers |
Frequent Diner Accounts List from the main menu.
-To see a complete list of
all Customer Credits issued, choose Reports | Credits Issued

-You can quickly clear up any
doubt about a particular customer by going to main menu
option Maintenance System | Customer Maintenance. When you
are there, locate this customer and then click on the
"magnifying glass" icon. This action will bring to the
screen all his purchases and reward credits. This log can
also be printed if necessary.
